About

Footy Design is a curated blog that showcases the most creative football work.

Footy Design serves as a creative hub, dedicated to showcasing artists and designers worldwide who possess an authentic passion for the game of football, as evidenced by their innovative and unique creations. Our objective is to carefully curate content that resonates with both football fans and design enthusiasts, thus adding to the vibrant tapestry of football culture.

History

The original Footy Design website was launched in June 2013 and was built on Wordpress.

In 2015 Footy Design was nominated for "Best Visual Blog" at the Football Blogging Awards, now called the Football Content Awards.

Around 2016, the blog went offline and all the published content was lost. Dark times for Footy Design. Have to restart from scratch.

In January, 2023 the blog was relaunched on Squarespace, but this version of the site served more as just a practice design project.

Now (2024) the blog is once again being relaunched on Webflow, a powerful no-code website design platform. The site and brand identity design is by Keefer Charneau.
