To continue the Famous Player Logo Series FD presents the winner of the 2014 FIFA Ballons d’Or, Cristiano Ronaldo aka CR7.
Original CR7 Logo / Stores
The CR7 logo was created when Ronaldo was still playing at Manchester United. He opened two shops; the first being in his hometown of Funchal, on the island of Madeira (2006), and another in Lisbon, Portugal (2008). (source: Daily Mail)

“Love to Win, Hate to Lose” – NIKE
NIKE: Nike Unified by a striking graphic logo of a heart (symbolizing a love of winning) slashed by an X (representing a hatred of losing), “Love to win, hate to lose” is a philosophy that informs and appears on every piece of the collection.
Nike: “Love to win, hate to lose” graphics and insignia embody perfectionism of CR7 on and off the pitch.
This mantra also reflects a collection that reveals two distinct sides of CR7 – a relentless, focused footballer at the peak of his power, and a more irreverent, playful and spontaneous style icon with a love of music who lives life full-on.
FD critique: The logo mark works well with the range of Ronaldo-branded products which consists of life style and sporting apparel. Also corresponds well with fans’ attitude towards Ronaldo (fans tend to hate him or love him).
CR7 LUXURY UNDERWEAR
Last but not least, Ronaldo has already shown us that he possessed two Golden Balls with the CR7 LUXURY UNDERWEAR.

The logo font seems to derive from a Grotesque Monotype font, perhaps:
